Keith Gunderson
Keith Gunderson has won numerous prestigious awards, including Best In Show at the Hudson Valley Plein Air Festival in both 2018 and 2017, Reginald Marsh Merit Scholarship Award at the Art Students League in New York City, Best in Show in the Frank Mason and his Legacy Exhibition at the Bryan Gallery in Cambridge, Vermont, Best In Show at the Hudson Valley Art Association’s Exhibition at the Jasper Cropsey Museum, and was one of 22 artists selected to exhibit at the Art Students League Centennial Exhibition. “Art is a conversation between the artist and the viewer”, Keith said. “Each brushstroke and palette knife cut is imbued with intention. An inanimate object conveys the artist’s energy and humanity, his life force.” His aim is to instill the concepts of volume and light, providing a way to expression beyond mere imitation. Keith Gunderson is on the faculty of the Woodstock School of Art in Woodstock, NY, the Dunedin Fine Art Center, Dunedin, FL, the Artists Collective of Hyde Park.
