William Rothfuss
Will studied realism at the Art Student’s League with Frank Mason and Robert Beverly Hale and has taken plein air workshops from Dave Dewey and Adriano Farinella. Although principally an abstract and assemblage artist, he loves plein air painting for the challenge and camaraderie and is still developing his plein air practice and voice. He counts many plein air painters among his best and oldest friends. He has entered seven plein air competitions in the last few years in Easton (PA) and Delaware Water Gap (PA) and has been fortunate enough to win a 1st place, two 2nd places, and 3 honorable mentions. He lives and works near Delaware Water Gap in northeast Pennsylvania.
